Information Sheet for Core Program or Business Tenant
You will have a contract between you or your organization and the UVEC setting forth our understanding regarding exactly what space you will use for what hours and how such space is to be configured. Pricing, duration and any other relevant issues will be identified in this agreement as well.
Any scheduled class advertised as available to the public must be continued through its published session.
As a core tenant of the Events Center, you will, by default, be included in the Events Center’s website (programs page) and quarterly brochure. You must advise if you do not want to be in either of these. You will also be required to have a logo/tag line graphic that will be used in some instances of promotion you receive or choose by doing business here.
Marketing of your program or class is up to you. The Events Center does have some services to assist. Please be sure that you know that the Events Center’s services or assistance, whether free or not, may or may not help your program. The Events Center takes no responsibility for the success of your program.
Services - some come for free, others are for a fee:
Postering - The Events Center has access to a postering service that gives you visibility around Upper Valley towns. Please inquire about poster sizes, timing, locations and pricing.
Radio Ads - The Events Center has access to a service that can produce and place radio ads for you. Fees vary, please inquire.
Print Ads - The Events Center can assist you in producing your printed materials and assist in placing them in local periodicals. Logo, postering and web design services are available too.
Dan and Whits General Store display cabinet – The Events Center owns a display cabinet in the center of the main bulletin board at Dan & Whits. You may display your paper advertisement in either a business card ($3/mo.), 16 sq. inch ($6/mo.), or 52 sq. inch ($15/month) size. There is a separate rate sheet, layout and description for this option that can be printed or e-mailed to you.
Radio Advertising: Periodically ads will be developed around a theme. For a fee you can have your program’s tag line inserted.
UVEVENTS.org Web Site – By default, you get a program page reference, short description, link to your website, notation of contact information and links to PDF’s of posters and registration forms. Additionally, you may have a unique single web page as part of the Events Center’s website for $5/month. The size of any files you associate with this page must not exceed 10 mb. $50 setup fee. Changes are billed at $50/hr.
E-mail lists - Once per quarter and four to five times per summer a bulk e-mail is sent out to the UV Events Center’s list. Your cost to be included is $0.02 per list member. There are 1,100 UV residents and businesses on our database as of 11/07.
Site Signs
Door & Foyer: As a core tenant, you are eligible to have one section of one of the bulletin boards in the foyer. Also, your program will be noted on the directory sign to the left of the entry door indicating where your program is found inside, what hours, subject areas and contact info.
Parking Lot: Options for permanent signage on site are for signs of a 2’ x 1’ dimension hung on the parking lot structure. These signs are displayed all year except when weddings or other private programs use the grounds and have stipulated that they do not want the signs up during their event. Your cost is $200 initial ($100 for sign production and $100 for year’s space rental). Price is $100 per year thereafter.
Road Side Advertising
Sandwich Boards: The Events Center owns four 2’x3’ sandwich board type signs. You may elect to display, for a fee for an agreed upon number of days your program’s sign on these signs on the road anywhere in the vicinity of the Events Center. Approximately 7,500 cars pass by the Events Center’s Route 5 site each day. The size of your sign to fit the sandwich-type board is 2 feet wide by 3 feet tall. It can be fastened the the board with clear packing tape.
Letter Sign Board: Display up to 7 lines of text of approximately ten letters each line. Letters are three inches tall. You must call in advance to see schedule availability.
Additional road side advertising options: Your banner can be placed under our sign. See example at right. Your lettering can be fastened to our 2’ tall by 8’ wide sandwich board sign. Your custom banner can be mounted to our yard fence. All of these options may or may not come with your use fee.
Traffic and Directional Signs. You may use the signs on site for direction your customers to parking and to alert them to areas where parking is not allowed (along Route 5).
