Children’s Birthday Parties
Bring the birthday party back home without the worry of having it at your home.
At the Upper Valley Events Center we provide all the conveniences of a professional building with a home-like feeling. We are an easy find for your guests, have on-site parking, functional rooms for games, cake & ice cream. We also have some great fun items that not every home has: indoor swings, mats, a puppet theater, balls, play huts, tents, an inflatable bouncy castle, a pirate ship, a fenced in play area and swings.
Our party options include starter kits & props for the following themes: pirate party, princess party, disco party, Casablanca and movie night. Any party can add a treasure hunt or bouncy castle ($75). Call Bruce Genereaux at (802) 649-2772 to schedule a visit to find out how easy it is to entertain your little one with a small effort. |
Prices: $125 for two party hours and 1/2 hr setup and 1/2 hr clean up time (total of $125 for 3 hrs on site), $50/hr for additional hours. We generally schedule parties for the 1PM to 4 PM and 4 PM to 7 PM time slots on Saturdays and Sundays. Friday afternoons are popular as well. You get any or all of the deck and fireplace room (and its kitchen) and pirate ship play yard. If it is raining and there are no other programs scheduled during your party, you may use the common room too where there are lots of supplies (play huts, swings, instruments, mats and craft supplies) to entertain your party goers. Rain rescheduling possible based on availability. You plan on bringing food, cake and plates and decorations. We have a list of cake makers and entertainers - just ask.

Pirate Party

The pirate party package includes a plank walk, play on the on-site ship, has been great fun, with the pirate ship outside in the fenced in play yard, a treasure hunt awaits the young pirates and their mates.

Princess Party

The Princess Party Package needs excited party girls and boys dressed in their princess and prince best. Greeted by the King and Queen, (royal robes included), a royal setting awaits including a banner, castle backdrop, a throne, and a magic mirror that can grant wishes and tell stories (provided you have the right person behind it). There are also costumes for your helpers.

| Disco Party |
In Lewiston Hall there is a juke box that plays 80’s classics. A lighted disco ball. A microphone and PA system for direct hook up of your IPod. A room all to yourselves. What fun. You get them come dressed and dim the lights, crank up the classics and dance away. |
| Movie Night |
We have a projector ($30 rental fee) and big screen. You bring the DVD or video and cover our rugs with your guests. |
| Puppet Theater |
We have a small puppet theather for your party. An image will posted shortly. The theater lives on site, so you can see it at the events center. Included are puppets, scripts for plays and the theather. |
Treasure Hunts |
With any party you can have a treasure hunt. We have two already designed for you, complete with maps and instructions and treasure box for your party bags.
Pirate
Princess Quest
We recommend you do this at the end of your party. You simply need to place the clues in advance - this helps because you want to know what your party goers will be encountering. Recommended for ages 6+. |
 Bouncy Castle |
Our inflatable bouncy castle is available to rent for $75 additional. You will need to get instructions on its set up and sign additional papers to use it. The bouncy castle sets up only outdoors and is difficult, but not impossible to use during winter. High winds and rain make it dangerous and we prefer that you come back another day to use it if you have already committed.
